Stephen Hopkins was a director and co-executive producer for 24 during Season 1. He served as the main director for Season 1, directing the majority of episodes of that season; including directing the premiere and finale episodes.
Biography
He has also directed for Californication, In Plain Sight, Tales from the Crypt, and The Unusuals. He has also directed a number of films, including A Nightmare On Elm Street: The Dream Child, Blown Away, Judgment Night, Lost in Space, Predator 2, The Ghost and the Darkness, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, The Reaping, and Under Suspicion.
In 2002, Stephen Hopkins was nominated for a Directors Guild Award and for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series at the Emmys for the episode Day 1: 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM.
