Robert Cochran

Robert Cochran is the co-creator as well as former writer and executive producer for 24.

Biography

He and Joel Surnow also created the series La Femme Nikita, in which Cochran wrote for. Other 24 crew members worked on La Femme Nikita including directors Jon Cassar and Brad Turner and writer Michael Loceff. He also wrote for The Commish, a series which also involved Joel Surnow, Michael Loceff, Brad Turner, and Stephen Kronish. Cochran has also written for Falcon Crest, JAG, and L.A. Law.

In 2002, Cochran, along with Joel Surnow won an Emmy award for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the episode Day 1: 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM.

He departed from 24 after his contracted expired during the run of Season 7 and was only creatively involved in the first 12 episodes.
