As an assistant to Karen Hayes, Miles helps in the Homeland Security takeover of CTU. Miles is a bit of a rat, as he helped get Bill Buchanan ousted from his position and found out Chloe and Audrey were helping Jack escape custody.

When Miles finds out that Karen Hayes is helping Jack, Bill, and Chloe get back to CTU with evidence against Logan, he calls the President himself and promises to destroy the evidence. Once doing it, Miles leaves CTU with a new job at the White House in hand. He is slapped by Karen Hayes on his way out.

It is unclear what happened to Miles Papazian after this event.
