The first six seasons, along with 24: Redemption have been released on DVD. The 24 DVDs include multiple types of bonus features, including episode audio commentaries by cast and crew; deleted/extended scenes; behind-the-scene featurettes; and much more. Also, short 6-10 minute prequels for the fourth, fifth, and sixth seasons appeared on the respective previous seasons DVD set. A special edition of the first season DVD was released on May 20, 2008 with brand new bonus features that didn't appear on the initial release, including audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and new featurettes.
