Craig Phillips was the Head of Security at the Chandler Plaza Hotel during Day 3.

Day 3

After the Chandler Plaza Hotel was exposed to the Cordilla virus, he assisted Michelle Dessler in trying to keep everyone calm inside the hotel. He also helped in trying to locate Marcus Alvers, who was believed to still be inside.

When he started to show symptoms of the virus and knew he was going to die, he pleaded with Michelle to speak with his wife and kids, but Michelle denied the request as she was under strict orders from the President to now allow anyone from inside to have outside communications.

We don't see Craig Phillips die on screen, but since he showed symptoms of the virus, it's presumed he died later on.
