Carrie Turner was a computer programmer at CTU: Los Angeles during Day 2.
Day 2
After an explosion at CTU, Carrie Turner is sent to replace Paula Schaeffer. There is immediately tension between Carrie and Michelle Dessler. Carrie used to be Michelle's boss. This causes Turner to constantly distrust Michelle. While Michelle is trying to help Jack Bauer find evidence of the Cyprus recording, Turner spies on Michelle and reports anything suspicious to Division Head, Ryan Chappelle and CTU Director Tony Almeida. When Tony starts to work with Jack and Michelle, Carrie tries to get them all in trouble by telling Chappelle.
It's also revealed that Carrie was involved with Michelle's brother Danny, who left his wife and kids to be with Carrie. Carrie would break up with Danny. Danny was so upset that he lost his wife and kids because of Carrie that he attempted suicide. When Danny comes into CTU because he wants to know what is going on with a possible threat to the city, he sees Carrie and is enraged, and begins to strangle her. Tony is able to pry him off. Carrie agreed to not press charges.
