Dr. Anne Packard was the love interest of President David Palmer during Day 3.

Day 3

She came in contact with President David Palmer after he had divorced his wife Sherry, and was recovering from the attack at the end of Day 2. David's brother Wayne disapproved of the relationship, and Senator John Keeler, who was running against Palmer in the next election, attempted to use evidence provided by Anne's ex-husband to discredit her.

Soon afterward, Anne watched her ex-husband, Ted Packard, shoot himself in front of her, which led to Anne telling David that she could not continue their relationship after the strenuous events.
